We want shopping at Smitty’s Surplus to feel straightforward and comfortable. Because of the nature of overstock and closeout merchandise, a few guidelines help keep things clear and fair for everyone.

Purchases

All sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges.

Our inventory comes from overstock and closeout sources, which means items may vary in condition. Some items are brand new, others may show signs of handling, and some may be used. Pricing reflects this.

We encourage customers to take their time before purchasing. You’re welcome to open boxes, inspect items, plug them in, or test them when applicable so you know exactly what you’re buying.

Item Condition

We do our best to check items before they go on the floor, but it’s important to look things over yourself. If you have questions about an item, just ask — we’re happy to help where we can.

If a band-strapped item is opened, it must be purchased unless visible damage is present at the time of opening.

Availability & Holds

Items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you’d like us to hold an item, payment in full is required. Once an item is paid for, we’re happy to hold it for pickup. Unpaid items cannot be reserved.
